There are three Medicaid services that can be consumer-directed in Virginia:
personal care, respite care, and companion care.
Eligibility for CD Services
Eligibility for CD Services
Enrollment in CCC Plus Waiver, CL or FIS Waiver or EPSDT.
Able to establish an appropriate CD service plan.
Health, Safety, and welfare are not jeopardized.
NOT LIVING IN:
Nursing Facility
Institution for Mental Illness
Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Development Disabilities
Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility Hospital
